Fancy a role in the theatre? Our cast is constantly growing and we'd love you to be a part of it! We encourage new staff from varied backgrounds with different experiences, skills, and stories to join us and help influence and develop our working practice.
Our friendly team of volunteers help usher shows and assist the Front of House Team in a number of duties, including checking tickets and enhancing the customer experience. Our voluntary staff are very important to us and we value their help and support in providing our audience with the best possible service.
We have now reached capacity within our volunteer team, however, we will be re-opening our books towards the end of the year.
We are thrilled to announce our work experience offer for 2025.
To allow as many people the opportunity to work with us, we will be running the work experience for 2 weeks. With multiple placements available per week.
Work experience takes place within all of our departments as we aim to give you an overview of how a theatre works as a whole. As a result, the majority of the placement will be admin and backstage-based, so if you are mainly interested in performing or "making" (such as costumes or wigs/hair and make-up) then this may not be the placement for you. Priority will be given to students genuinely considering a career in technical theatre or theatre management.
The work experience placement will range from office-based duties within our Admin, Ticket Office, Hospitality, and Marketing departments to shadowing/working with our Technical team.
Please do not ask your parents or teachers to contact us for your placement - we want to hear from YOU!
Week 1: February 17th - 21st
Week 2: March 3rd - 7th
To apply you must be between the ages of 14 and 20 on the date you are applying for.
